Reels on Wheels is the magic of movies like never before, designed to illicit joy and wonder for all those who discover this unique mobile cinema. Gather with your friends and family to watch enchanting, kid-friendly indie-film shorts, as they light up the mobile screen in a delightful setting. Every seat is the best seat! It’s a journey into a world of imagination that’s perfect for all ages!
Created in 2020 by Allyson West, Reels on Wheels served over 25 local communities in 2020 and 2021 with free family-friendly indie films designed to inspire curiosity and spark creativity.
Since 2024, Reels on Wheels has been housed at the Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati, Ohio bringing a peaceful and inspiring movie watching experience to all who visit. You can visit Cindependent’s mobile cinema, Reels on Wheels, at no cost during normal museum hours.
